Who was bare in Soi 6 last week?

Bertrum Bear was!

Bertrum Bear is the official mascot of the Charity Club of Pattaya and was seen last week relaxing at the Queen Victoria Inn.

Bertrum was with Malcolm & Christina Boden whilst they were discussing the details of the club’s next charity event, which will be sponsored by John Smith’s and the Queen Victoria on December 9th.

Bertrum got in on the act, modelling his John Smith’s T-Shirt presented to him by Rob Murray from Fluid Asia Pacific.

John Smith’s bitter is the latest drink to be added to the already vast array of drinks at the Queen Victoria Inn.

This event is to celebrate the Queen Victoria Inn becoming the official home of the Charity Club of Pattaya and to raise funds for the Rotary Club Krasang-Buriram.

John Smith’s have kindly donated a barrel of John Smith’s beer for the event, whilst the Queen Victoria have donated cans of Tiger and Gilbey’s Gin with all the proceeds from the drinks going to the Charity Club of Pattaya.

Peter Rottmann, president 2005 - 2006 of the Rotary Club Krasang-Buriram, contacted the Charity Club and asked if they could raise funds for children in Issan who were desperately in need of a large selection of wheelchairs and walking aids. Of course they couldn’t refuse, so all the money raised on the evening will be for this purpose.

To get the ball rolling Terry Schofield of North Shore Real Estate has donated a wheelchair and Kevin Fisher of Cranes and Equipment Asia has donated 2 chairs.

A raffle will also be held on the evening. Draw tickets are on sale now at the Queen Victoria Inn. Please support the Charity Club of Pattaya on Friday December 9th at 7 p.m.

Donna and Bernie Pollard have been great supporters of the Charity Club. Donna works for BUPA, Pattaya, and has arranged that BUPA U.K. cover the whole cost of a three wheeled bicycle and will match the Charity Club baht for baht on the total raised that evening.
